Stuck on a puzzle, or something not working? We're happy to help. Write to hello@bonodoku.com and tell us your device, its system version, and what happened. We usually answer within a few days.
How do I play?
Every colored room hides exactly one Bono, and so does every row and every column. Two Bonos never touch, not even at the corners. Tap a spot once for a Bono and twice for an ✕ (your note that no Bono hides there); tap again to clear it. You can also drag across spots to ✕ many at once. You can replay the tutorial any time from Settings → How to play.
I'm stuck
Tap Hint. The first tap shows Bono's reasoning and the spots it is about; tap Hint again to fill that step in. Hints never guess, and a puzzle solved with a hint still counts. Solving without hints or wrong Bonos earns ★★★ (★★ at most with Easy assist on).
What are the dots?
Auto dots mark spots a placed Bono rules out. They are always on in levels 1 to 5 while you learn; after that you can switch them on or off in Settings.
My purchase is missing
Purchases are tied to your Apple or Google account and come back automatically when you sign in to the store with the same account; once purchases are on sale, Settings in the game also has a Restore purchases button. Refunds are handled by the store where you paid: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play in your order history.
Will I lose my progress?
Progress is saved on your device as you play. Deleting the game deletes its progress, and there is no online account to restore it from; your device's own backup may include it.
Sound and music
Music and sound effects each have their own switch on the home screen, in the pause menu and in Settings. The game respects your device's silent switch and never plays its music over another app's audio.
